The most common reason for policyholders to become dissatisfied with the claims process is because of delays in reimbursement.

Incomplete paperwork:
When you submit a claims form it is important that all the paperwork is fully completed. If your form is incomplete or incorrect it will slow down the reimbursement process considerably. It is the policyholder's responsibility to make sure that all paperwork submitted to the insurance company is accurately completed.
Pre-existing conditions:
There are cases where the insurance company will dispute the claim as a pre-existing condition. Many insurance companies will only provide coverage for pre-existing conditions after a waiting period. It is important that when you make a claim there is documentation from a medical professional stating that the condition was not pre-existing.
