  • There are on the spot fines for littering and spitting. Smoking has been banned form most public places and indoor areas. Drugs of any kind are not permitted in Hong Kong , and the penalties for possession can be severe.
  • Crime in Hong Kong is relatively low. The most common complaint that visitors to the city will have is in regards to petty theft. Take care of your belongings and be aware of potential pick pocketing situations
